Two familiar Hoosier faces, Bryce Martin and Jake Danishek, made their way back to the starting lineup for the first time this calendar year. Martin fell into a 2-0 hole in the first period but responded with an escape and a takedown to tie the match at 3-3. Starting down in the second, Martin gained control with a quick breakout and another drop and finished the third period with two takedowns and the riding time point. Sliga prevented Conley's comeback attempt by riding out the third period for a 5-2 decision.

Miller responded with the first takedown of the match, but Jennings' escape tied it up.
Just when the match looked to be headed for a sudden victory round, Jennings caught Miller in a single-leg and scored a decisive takedown with 10 seconds remaining to win by decision, 4-2.
