Feb. 14, 2018
• The Hoosiers have won six straight games against the Illini in Bloomington.
• From the field, IU shot a season-best 59% (26-44). It is the second straight game and the fifth time in the last eight games that IU has connected on 50% or better.
• In the last 3 games, the Hoosier defense has allowed just 55.7 points on 32.7% shooting from the floor and 25.9% from 3-point range.
• Indiana outrebounded Illinois 34-23. The Hoosiers have outrebounded an opponent in four straight games.
• The Hoosiers have won three straight games for the third time this season.
• IU had 38 bench points, the most it has produced since scoring 39 against Howard in the second game of the season.
• IU had five or more players in double-figures for the first time since beating Penn State earlier this season.
• The Hoosiers have won three straight Big Ten games by 10+ points for the first time since Feb. 10-16, 2013.
• When leading with five minutes left, the Hoosiers are 12-0.
• With 14 points and 10 rebounds, junior forward Juwan Morgan recorded his eighth double-double of the season and ninth of his career.
• Morgan also set a career-high in blocks with five and tied his career-high for steals with four.
• The five blocks from Morgan are the most by a IU player since Troy Williams notched five blocks against IPFW on Dec. 9, 2015.
• Senior guard Robert Johnson jumped into 26th place on the Indiana all-time scoring list with 14 points tonight. He now has 1,339 career points.
• Johnson knocked down two 3-pointers to extend his career tally to 223, fourth on the Indiana career 3FG made list.
• Freshman guard Aljami Durham tied his career-high in field goals made with five. Durham also reached double-figures in points for the third time this season. He finished with his Big Ten-best effort of 14 points. He has hit 5 of his last 10 3-point field goal attempts.
• With 11 points redshirt senior guard Josh Newkirk reached double-figure scoring for the eighth game this season.
• Freshman forward Justin Smith put up 13 points on the night, the fifth game he's had 10+ points.
• With nine points, redshirt senior forward Freddie McSwain Jr. came one point short of his career-high.
• IU went on a 14-0 run lasting 4:49 from 12:23 to 6:19 in the first half. It was also an 18-2 run lasting 6:40.
• Indiana is now 18-7 overall and 13-4 at home all-time on Valentine's Day.
