Post Game Notes
• The Hoosiers won their 4th straight game of the season and 2nd straight on the road.
• IU swept the season series with the Hawkeyes and have won 3 of its last 4 games in Iowa City.
• The Hoosiers have clinched no worse than the 7th seed in the upcoming Big Ten Tournament which would have them play the 10 seed at 6:30 p.m., March 1. If IU were to earn the 6th seed, they would play the #11 or #14 seed following the 6:30 p.m. game.
• Iowa hit their first 10 field goal attempts and led by as many as 13 (23-10) with 13:41 to go in the first half. The Hawkeyes led by 9 (41-32) with 2:23 left in the half. The Hoosiers closed out the first half with a 10-4 run making it 45-42 at halftime.
• The Hoosiers made a season-high 14 of 24 three-point field goal attempts (a season-high 58.3%) and have made 35 of 74 (47.3%) triples during the win streak.
• Indiana had a Big Ten season-high 23 assists and have averaged 19.3 assists per game in the last 3 contests.
• IU's bench outscored the Hawkeyes, 19-14.
• Senior Robert Johnson had a career day scoring 29 points. He also had 4 assists. He made a career-high 10 field goals and tied the IU record by making 9 3-point field goals. Rod Wilmont hit 9 at Northwestern in 2007 and Matt Roth buried 9 against Ohio State in 2009.
• Johnson's 9 three-point field goals made also established a new facility record for Carver-Hawkeye Arena.
• Sophomore Devonte Green finished with 18 points and 6 assists. For the 3rd time in 6 games, Green tied his career-high with 4 three-point field goals made. Green also led the team with 4 rebounds.
• Freshman Justin Smith continued his solid play. He had 15 points and made 5 of 7 from the field and from the free throw line. He has averaged 14.0 points the last 2 games.
• Senior Juwan Morgan also finished in double figures with 12 points.
• Senior Freddie McSwain, Jr., played lock down defense in the final 1:43 and scored the game winning layup with 49 seconds left on a no-look pass from Green. McSwain finished with 4 points and had 2 assists.
• Senior Collin Hartman came off the bench and tied a career-high with 5 assists in 17 minutes. He also added 2 steals and was instrumental in the Hoosiers late first half run.
• Senior Josh Newkirk had 4 points and 2 rebounds.
• Junior Zach McRoberts added a basket, his first points in 5 games.
• Freshman Aljami Durham had 2 assists in 12 minutes.

• IU is shooting 53.6% from the field and 47.3% from three-point range while holding opponents to 37.8% shooting from the floor and 30.7% from long distance.
