• Junior forward Juwan Morgan record his seventh double-double of the season and the eighth of his career, scoring a game-high 23 points with 11 rebounds.
• Morgan has scored 20 or more points in four of the last five games. In his last five games, Morgan is averaging 23.0 points and 7.6 rebounds, shooting 59.0 percent (46-of-78) from the floor.
• Senior forward Freddie McSwain Jr. grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds – the most rebounds in a game for a Hoosier since Troy Williams had 19 against IPFW on Dec. 9, 2015. McSwain Jr. also had eight points, one block and one steal.
• McSwain Jr. had nine offensive rebounds. The last IU player with 9 offensive rebounds: Juwan Morgan on 12/18/17 vs. Fort Wayne. Prior to that it was Tom Pritchard on 12/10/2008 vs. TCU. The last time an IU player had 16 rebounds was Troy Williams with 19 vs. IPFW on 12/09/15.
• Sophomore guard Devonte Green led the team with a career-best six assists. Green also had eight points and two rebounds in the game.
• Redshirt junior Zach McRoberts matched his career-high with four steals in the game. McRoberts entered Saturday leading in Big Ten games only with 1.9 steals per game and was eighth overall at 1.4 thefts per game.
• Indiana out-rebounded Michigan State, 53-29, including 25-3 in offensive rebounds. Michigan State entered the game leading the Big Ten and ranked fifth in the country in total rebounds per game at 42.1.
• Prior to tonight, Michigan State's worst rebounding margin since 1996-97 was a (-18) vs. North Carolina in the 1998 NCAA Tournament Regional Semifinal.
• The 3 offensive rebounds for Michigan State are the lowest since the 1996-97 season (they had three on four other occasions).
• IU's 25 offensive rebounds are the most in a game since the 1996-97 season.
• The Hoosiers' 53 total rebounds are the most in a game since the team had 56 against Penn State on Feb. 1, 2017.
