
Session and Kuhn Bring Home Two Wins For The Hoosiers

ANN ARBOR, Mich. – Sophomore Williams Session and senior Daniel Kuhn took first place in the 60m hurdle finals and the 800m.
Belleville, Ill. native William Session earned the first win of the afternoon for the Hoosiers in the men's 60m hurdle finals. Session crossed the finish line in 7.87, which keeps him at the No. 4 spot in the Big Ten.
All-American Daniel Kuhn set a new facility record at the UM Indoor Track when he won the 800m in a close finish with the time of 1:49.93. Redshirt senior Jordan Huntoon finished ninth overall with the time of 1:52.10.
Junior Kelsey Harris was the first Hoosier to cross the finish line in the women's 800m with the time of 2:07.50. Senior Kendell Wiles moved up six spots in the Big Ten rankings to No. 5 in the with her seventh place finish with the time of 2:08.49. Sophomore Mallory Mulzer jumped up eight spots to No. 8 in the Big Ten with her eighth place finish with the time of 2:09.32. Sophomore Joely Pinkston closed out the race for the Hoosiers.
Junior Treyton Harris finished third in the men's high jump with the mark of 2.10m (6'10.75"). Senior Paul Galas took fourth with the same mark of 2.10m (6'10.75"). Harris and Galas are currently in a five-way tie for the No. 8 spot in the Big Ten. Harris also finished second in the men's long jump with the mark of 7.44m (24'5").
The Hoosiers will be back in action next weekend when they host the Hoosier Hills on Friday, February 9. Indiana will also send athletes to the Tyson Invitational in Fayetteville, Ark. and the Iowa State Classic in Ames, Iowa.
