
Stiever Named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Indiana starting pitcher Jonathan Stiever has been named Big Ten Pitcher of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
Stiever threw 6.0 scoreless innings to earn his second-straight win in the Hoosiers' victory against Northern Illinois on Friday. The junior allowed only two hits, while striking out six and has allowed just 14 hits over his last 19.2 innings, striking out 25 while allowing four earned runs.
The Cedarburg, Wis. native earns his first career Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honor. Junior Pauly Milto (Feb. 26, 2018) picked up Big Ten Pitcher of the Week honors earlier this season.
Indiana hosts Wright State on Wednesday at 4:05 p.m.
