Hoosiers Edge Hawkeyes, 4-3

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Senior Xiwei Cai clinched the Hoosiers 14^th win of the season and Indiana has already matched their total wins from last season with a 4-3 win over Iowa on Saturday at the IU Varsity Courts.

Despite dropping the doubles point, the Hoosiers (14-6, 2-3) got singles wins from Caitlin Bernard, Michelle McKamey, Olga Zavarotnaya and Cai to clinch the match.

Two Hoosiers freshmen, McKamey and Zavarotnaya show resiliency as they both rallied for three set wins.

Bernard won her 15^th singles match of the season in dual match play with a 7-5, 6-3 victory.

Up next the Hoosiers host Nebraska, tomorrow at 11:00 AM.
