six MAC West Division crowns and its only two 40-win seasons in program history (1997, 1999).
• The Hoosiers entered the week ranked in all six polls. IU is ranked 10th by D1Baseball.com, 11th by the NCBWA and in the USA Today Coaches Poll, 12th by Perfect Game, 13th by Collegiate Baseball, and 16th by Baseball America.
• On Tuesday, IU will be playing its fifth game in a nine-game stretch against teams from the state of Indiana. The Hoosiers are 4-0 in those games so far.
• Entering Tuesday, junior Matt Lloyd has reached base in 21 straight games, which includes a 10-game hitting streak.
• In the four victories last week, junior Ryan Fineman went 9-of-16 with seven RBI and four runs scored to go along with two extra base hits (double, home run).
• Offensively, Indiana is tied for second in the Big Ten in home runs (24), is third in batting average (.285) and slugging percentage (.445), and is fourth in on base percentage (.379) and doubles (47).
• The IU pitching staff is first in the Big Ten in ERA (2.66), fewest runs allowed (77), fewest earned runs allowed (63), fewest walks allowed (71).
• The 20-5 start for the Hoosiers is their best 25-game start since 2013, when that squad opened the year going 22-3.
