"The highlight over the years has been our annual spring match against the Mexico U-20 National Team," IU head coach Todd Yeagley said. "This game will provide a great opportunity to challenge our team collectively and individually against some of the top young players in the world. Our fans and community have enjoyed the exciting and festive atmosphere each spring as we host our friends from Mexico. This year we expect another great game."
On Friday night, the Mexico U-20's played Notre Dame to a 1-1 draw in South Bend. Last year, Indiana's scheduled match against the Mexico U-18 National Team was canceled due to weather.
Sunday's match will bring a close to the spring season for the Hoosiers, which has seen the team post a record of 3-1-2, with victories over Valparaiso, Evansville and Butler.
