IU’s Rennicks Called Up to U.S. U-20 Men’s National Team

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – Indiana University men's soccer's Justin Rennicks was named one of 20 players invited to participate in a 12-day training camp that will start in Florida and end with two matches against Honduras in San Pedro Sula, U.S. Under-20 Men's National Team head coach Tab Ramos announced on Wednesday.
After six days of training in the Sunshine State, the U-20 MNT will travel south for two matches against Los Catrachoson May 17 and 19.
The matchups mark the first time the USA has faced Honduras since the 2017 Concacaf U-20 Championship final, in which the previous U-20 MNT cycle defeated Honduras in penalty kicks to claim the first regional title for the U.S. U-20 program.
Limited due to injury for most of his freshman season in 2017, Rennicks appeared in nine matches at the end of the year, tallying an assist in the team's 4-0 victory over Ohio State in the Big Ten Tournament semifinals.
Rennicks is no stranger to USMNT camps, as the Hamilton, Mass. native participated in the U-20 training camp in Spain in March and the U.S. Soccer Men's YNT Summit Camp this past January in Florida.
