Browning Named Big Ten Athlete of the Week

BLOOMINGTON, Ind. – After finishing second in the 1,500m fast section at the Billy Hayes Invitational this past weekend redshirt freshman Teddy Browning has been named the Men's Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week, announced by the league on Wednesday.
The Carmel, Ind. native earns his career first Big Ten Track Athlete of the Week after he crossed the finish line in 3:45.20, which was just short of his personal record (3:44.84). Browning set his personal record at the Pac 12/Big 10 Challenge hosted by Arizona State, which is the seventh fastest time in the Big Ten.
Browning and the Hoosiers will be back in action this weekend when Indiana University hosts the Big Ten Championships Friday, May 11 – Sunday, May 13.
