BLOOMINGTON, Ind.– Sophomore volleyball student-athlete Breana Edwards has been named the IU Scholar Athlete of the Month.
Since the Fall of 2018, Breana has built a very solid academic foundation moving forward. Edwards has utilized the academic resources provided to all student-athletes which culminated in this past Spring 2019 semester as she was an Alpha Beta Honoree. This distinction goes to student-athletes who have a semester GPA of over a 3.0. Edwards is currently aspiring to work in the Sport Psychology field when she has completed her degree at Indiana University.
"Bre has been an exceptional student-athlete to work with during my time at IU," Academic Advisor Tyler Wright said. "She absolutely did a phenomenal job in her summer courses and I could not be more proud of her. Bre has been at IU for one year now and to see the growth that she has made over that time period is awesome."
