Honored as a Second Team All-Big Ten selection … CSCAA Scholar All-America ... beat the previous program record by nearly three seconds with a time of 2:51.45 in the Big Ten’s 400 freestyle relay, good for a second place finish and an NCAA A cut … placed second with a school record, and an NCAA A cut, 200 freestyle relay with a time of 1:17.60 … finished 11^th with a career best, NCAA B cut, time of 43.56 in the conference’s 100 freestyle … placed sixth in the Big Ten’s with a 1:26.11 in the 200 medley relay … finished sixth in the Big Ten’s 50 freestyle with a 19.75 … finished thirty-second in the Big Ten’s 100 back with a career time of 48.78 … posted the second fastest time in program history with a 2:52.40, honorable mention All-American and a tie for 14^th, in the 400 freestyle relay … finished 19^th in the 200 medley relay with a time of 1:26.35 … part of the fourth fastest 200 freestyle relay team that finished 17^th in the consolation final with a time of 1:18.08… swam a 19.63 in the 50 freestyle, good for 28^thplace.

PREP/PERSONAL
Holds school records in the short course meters 100 freestyle (51.94) and 200 freestyle (1:57.37) ... also holds team records in the 100-yard freestyle (44.81), 50 freestyle (20.36), 100 backstroke (50.44) and 200 medley relay (1:34.30) ... earned the school's Outstanding Swimmer Award, as well as all-prep, all-state and All-America honors ... in 2014, Khalafalla helped lead his squad to its second-consecutive Virginia Independent Schools Athletic Association team championship ... in the 50 free he re-set the state record four times, while also setting a new state mark in the 100 free ...
