Won gold with Team Canada, setting a Canadian record in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 7:33.89 at the 2016 FINA Short Course World Championships … also placed ninth in the 200 backstroke (2:05.41) and 10^th in the 400 freestyle (4:05.91).

2016 RIO SUMMER OLYMPIC GAMES
2016 Rio Olympian for Team Canada … won a bronze medal as a member of Team Canada’s 4x200 Freestyle Relay team … swam in the morning prelims, recording a split of 1:59.49 … qualified for the team after finishing fourth in the 200m freestyle final at the Canadian Olympic & Para-swimming Trials.

SOPHOMORE YEAR (2015-16)

Named Big Ten Freshman of the Year, Big Ten Newcomer of the Year, and First Team All-Conference … set the Big Ten record in the 800 freestyle relay with a time of 6:59.10 to win the Big Ten championship … gold-medal finisher in the conference’s 500 freestyle with a career best time of 4:37.83 (NCAA B cut) … first place finish and the Big Ten’s in the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:44.15 … holds the school record in the 200 free with a time of 1:43.37 and the LCM 200 freestyle with a time of 1:59.01 … set the new school record in the 400 freestyle relay at the conference championships with a third place time of 3:15.75 (NCAA A cut) … swam the second fastest 100 freestyle in program history with a 48.69 in the prelims of the Big Ten’s, finished seventh with an NCAA B cut time of 48.88 … set the new Big Ten record on the way to being named an All-American for her fifth place finish in the 200 freestyle, clocked in at 1:43.52 … All-American in the 800 freestyle relay with a sixth place finish and time of 7:02.61 … named honorable mention All-American in the 500 freestyle with a 14^th place finish and time of 4:40.02 … finished 28^th in the nation in the 200 backstroke with a time of 1:54.01 … part of the nation’s 24^th place 400 freestyle relay with a time of 3:17.67.
