Hit career-bests in every category, including appearances (48), starts (12) and innings pitched (130.0) … recorded her first career victory against Utah Valley on Feb. 13 and finished the year with six victories …pitched three complete games (at Michigan, vs. Purdue and at Ohio State) … threw 2.2 scoreless innings and surrendered just two hits against No. 8 Georgia on Feb. 27 … tossed 4.0 scoreless innings, giving up just two hits and striking out five in a relief appearance against Bowling Green on March 14 … in a complete game outing against Purdue on April 22, gave up just two earned runs and a walk while striking out four to earn the victory … picked up three saves on the season, including April 4 vs. Maryland and back-to-back saves against Penn State on April 11 and 12

Appeared in two games in the circle, both coming in relief ... pitched a total of three innings ... made her collegiate debut against Northwestern and tossed two innings of two-hit softball, allowing one unearned run and striking out one ... second appearance game at Iowa in the second game of a doubleheader where she pitched one inning and only allowed one walk.

Received four letters at Mater Dei, playing for head coach Doug Meyers ... did not play her senior year due to injury ... finished her junior year with a 1.16 ERA and 117 strikeouts while giving up 69 hits in 101 innings pitched ... was named to the Corona Santiago All-Tournament team and Foothill Round Table All-Tournament team ... garnered first team all-league honors and was named Trinity League Pitcher of the Year ... As a sophomore she had a 1.30 ERA in 20 innings of work to go with 20 strikeouts ... following her freshman year, she was named Trinity League Rookie of the Year after posting a 2.26 ERA ... in her three years pitching, the team was 65-15 overall and 19-5 in league play while earning two league titles ... played travel ball for Strike Force ... placed 25th at ASA Nationals in 2010 ... the daughter of Peter and Laura Tamayo ... she has two brothers, Pete and Gabe, and one sister, Celina Hymer
