2013 (Redshirt Junior)
Appeared in all 23 games, making 11 starts ... scored four goals, three of which were game-winners, and assisted on four more ... had a total of 29 shots and 20 of them were on goal ... logged her first goal during the Hoosiers' second game of the season against Georgia Southern, which was the game-winner, while also assisting on two other goals in the game ... picked up an assist against Eastern Kentucky ... had the team's only goal in a loss to Penn State ... scored the game-winning goal in a 2-1 win against Purdue, giving IU its first-ever win in West Lafayette ... assisted on the only goal of the game against Wisconsin, a 1-0 IU victory ... had her final goal of the season in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament against Illinois ... named Academic All-Big Ten.

Melink was a varsity starter for three seasons at Ursuline Academy for head coach Colleen Dehring ... scored 36 goals in her career ... named Second Team All-Star GGCL twice ... led Ursuline to GGCL league titles in 2006 and 2007 ... and advanced all the way to the regional finals in 2007 ... played club soccer for Cincinnati United Premier, where she won the State Cup ... also part of the Ohio South State team with the Olympic Development Program (ODP) in 2007 and 2008, advancing to the regional camp as a junior ... attended the IU Soccer Camp in 2008 and was named camp MVP ... also an accomplished student-athlete off the field, Melink has received a number of scholastic honors including the Southern Ohio and Northern Kentucky Art and Writing Scholastic Award on two occasions ... the daughter of Steve and Mary Frances Melink ... has one brother, Matt, and two sisters, Katie and Laura.
