JUNIOR
Was an All-American after placing sixth at the national meet with a leap of 15.77m in the triple jump Indoor: won the Big Ten indoor triple jump title ... was a two-time Big Ten Field Athlete of the Week (Jan. 9, 23)
Outdoor: Recorded a personal-best triple jump mark of 15.86m at the Indiana Team Classic and a personal-best long jump mark of 7.32m at the Big Ten Championships to place fourth ... recorded a mark of 7.19m in the long jump at the Stanford Invitational ... also tallied a season-best leap of 15.70m in the triple jump at the Stanford Invitational ... was a Mideast Regional qualifier.
SOPHOMORE YEAR (2006)
Indoor: Picked up a personal best in the 60m with a time of 7.14 at the Indiana Open... nabbed a personal record in the 200m at the Indiana Open with a 22.86 mark... competed in the long jump and recorded 6.85m (22-5.75) at the Hoosier Relays... met his personal-best, 15.45m (50-8.25), in the triple jump on two occasions... took 12th at Big Tens in the long jump with a leap of 6.94m (22-9.25).
Outdoor: Posted a personal-best mark of 16.19m (53-1.50) in the triple jump at NCAA Championships on June 10 for fourth after taking first in the prelims... became the third straight outdoor All-American in the triple jump for IU and the fifth in five years for the Hoosiers... leaped a season-best 7.30m (23-11.50) in the long jump at the Billy Hayes Invitational on May 5... earned All-Big Ten second team honors.
FRESHMAN YEAR (2005)
Indoor: Placed fifth in the triple jump at the Big Ten Championships with a personal-best leap of 15.20m (49-10.50)... season-best effort in the long jump (6.95m/22-9.75) was at the IU vs. OSU and Purdue quad meet.
Outdoor: Established personal-bests in both the triple jump and long jump at the Big Ten Championships... captured fifth-place honors in the triple jump with a mark of 15.04m (49-4.25) and took home sixth-place in the long jump after recording a mark of 7.31m (23-11.75).
PREP/PERSONAL
Ranked No. 1 in the state of Washington in the triple and long jump... holds Thomas Jefferson High School records in both events... named Tacoma Tribune Athlete of the Year... earned team MVP all four years.
