Fields is the only player in program history to play in 50 games (50) and started 20 times. He made 159 tackles, 121 solo, one sack, 5.5 tackles for loss, four interceptions (1 pick-6), nine pass breakups, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Fields graduated with a management degree in Dec. 2017.

2017 (Senior): Played at safety the first three games before moving to the husky position the final nine ... started seven times ... posted 56 tackles (5th on the team), 44 solo (4th), one sack, five tackles for loss, one interception (T-2nd), one forced fumble (T-2nd), one fumble recovery (T-2nd) and one pass breakup ... collected a career-high 10 stops, seven solo, and one TFL in his first game at husky at No. 4 Penn State ... tallied eight tackles, six solo, one for loss and his first career forced fumble at No. 18 Michigan State ... recovered his first career fumble and his first career sack in the Rutgers win ... secured seven solo stops, one for loss, against No. 17 Michigan ... picked off the pass and added five tackles at Maryland ... delivered five solos with the PBU in the season opener against No. 2 Ohio State ... two-time IU defensive team player of the week (Michigan and Rutgers).

2015 (Sophomore): Appeared in all 13 games ... made 19 tackles, 15 solo, with a 20-yard interception touchdown return at Wake Forest ... the INT was the first of his career ... made four stops, all solo, against No. 10 Iowa ... closed the season with three tackles in the New Era Pinstripe Bowl against Duke.
2014 (Freshman): Played in all 12 games ... posted 14 tackles, nine solo, with one pass breakup ... collected four stops, three solo, with the PBU in the team’s win over No. 18 Missouri.
