2021 (SENIOR): Started 19 games and played all 20 games of the season … second on the team in goals (6) and tied for second in points (13) ... scored the opening goal of the season in a 3-2 win over Central Michigan (Aug. 27) ... recorded two game-winning goals including the only goal in IU’s road victory over No. 21 Miami (OH) (Sept. 3) ... tallied a goal and three shots in a 5-0 beatdown of Michigan State (Oct. 15) ... grabbed a brace in a 3-0 win over Ohio (Oct. 24) ... assisted on IU’s opening goal of the Big Ten Tournament against No. 2 Rutgers (Nov. 4) ... moved into the top-15 on IU’s all-time goal-scoring record ... finished IU career with 16 goals, three assists and 54 appearances.
2020-2021 (JUNIOR): Opted out of the season due health and safety concerns during the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 (SOPHOMORE): Was voted to the All-Big Ten Second Team at the conclusion of the season … took a spot on the Big Ten Preseason Watch List … saw the opportunity to compete at the USA Field Hockey Young Women’s National Championships … started all 17 games for Indiana … led the team in three statistical categories, goals (10), points (21) and shots (43) … had nine multi-shot games this season … took six shots in the victory over Drexel (Aug. 31) … saw her first goal of the season against Miami (OH) … scored one of Indiana’s three goals at Saint Louis (Sept. 13) … recorded her first career hat-trick at No. 24 Michigan State (Sept. 20) … notched a goal in three straight games—vs. Ohio State (Sept. 29), Penn State (Oct. 4) and at Rutgers (Oct. 11) … took a career-high seven shots at Central Michigan while also tallying a goal (Oct. 25).
2018 (FRESHMAN): Played in all 17 games during the season … made the day one starting lineup and made a deft intercept to set an assist for the tying goal versus No. 8 Louisville (Aug. 24) ... took a personal-best five shot attempts, two on target, in a comeback win over Saint Francis (Sept. 9) ... had two shot against Michigan State one of which was on target but couldn’t find the back of the cage (Oct. 5) … recorded her 11th shot of the season against St. Louis (Oct. 7) … took three shots in the Big Ten Tournament game against Michigan State (Oct. 26).
PREP AND PERSONAL: Tallying 98 goals and 57 assists (253 points) in four years under coach Casey Eck, Couch smashed Easton's 49-year goal record in addition to the school's career assist mark … entered the Easton Hall of Fame after earning an All-State first team selection, two first team All-EPC honors, and captaincy her senior year … Easton qualified for district playoffs all four seasons of Couch's career and, in her senior season, earned their first State playoff spot in 27 seasons … also a member of the USA Field Hockey U-19 Indoor National Team and played for the USA youth indoor teams for four years … earned the opportunity to play internationally in the Netherlands, falling just short of the title by a shootout to the host nation … also won four titles at the National Indoor Tournament with her club team, X-Calibur, coached by Brian Hope and Alli Lokey … born May 7, 2000 … the daughter of Christine and Greg Couch … has one sister, Michelle, and two brothers, Michael and Chris...majors in management.
