Won eight letters in three sports at Indiana University...won basketball letters in 1908 and 1909...won baseball letters in 1909, 1910 and 1911...won football letters in 1908, 1909 and 1910 and was all-conference in football...captained all three sports...the only athlete ever to captain three sports at IU...coached baseball 1913-15 and basketball 1914-15...assistant football coach and acting Director of Athletics 1913-15...mayor of Bloomington from 1935-38.
