Bev Ramser is one of the most accomplished players in IU Women's Tennis history. A member of Hall of Fame coach Lin Loring's historic first recruiting class alongside Tina McCall and Kelly Ferguson, Ramser immediately starred on the national stage, earning All-America honors in both singles and doubles as a freshman and advancing to the AIAW doubles semifinals in 1979 with Ferguson. She continued her dominance during her next three years and earned All-Big Ten recognition in 1981 and 1982. Ramser compiled phenomenal career records of 102-31 in singles and 109-25 in doubles. Her storied collegiate career included Big Ten team titles in 1980, 1981, and 1982, and culminated with the ultimate team achievement when she helped lead the Hoosiers to the 1982 AIAW National Championship.
