Women's softball coach from 1979-1987; led IU to Big Ten Championships in 1979, 1980, 1983, 1986 … her teams played in the College World series five times, with a 2nd place finish in 1980 and a 3rd place finish in 1986 … in 1983 and 1986 Blevins' teams were the NCAA Midwest regional champs … in 1986 named both Regional and National Coach of the Year … overall coaching record of 301-146 … is currently head softball coach at the University of Iowa.
