Ken Snow is the most decorated player in the history of Indiana University's most historically successful program. Starring for Hall of Fame Coach Jerry Yeagley from 1987-90, Snow is the program's only four-time first-team All-American and its only two-time national player of the year. As a freshman in 1987, he set a new program record with 28 goals, a mark that still stands 39 years later. As a sophomore, he scored 22 goals, won his first Hermann Trophy Award as the National Player of the Year, and led IU to the program's third NCAA Championship. Snow scored 18 goals in 1989 and another 16 in 1990, a season that saw him claim his second Hermann Trophy award. Snow concluded his IU career with 84 goals in 87 career matches, and he remains the program's all-time leader in goals and points (196). His 84 goals also rank sixth in NCAA soccer history. Over his four seasons, IU went 71-12-7 and advanced to two College Cups to go along with the 1988 NCAA Championship title. Ken passed away in 2020.
