HOOSIERS FALL TO IOWA
IOWA CITY, Iowa - The Indiana women's soccer team (7-4, 2-2) fell to the Iowa Hawkeyes (5-5, 2-2) today 3-0. Despite 20 shots on goal, including several that either hit the goal post or the crossbar, the Hoosiers were unable to convert any of their chances. Ashley Davis started in net for Indiana and recorded six saves.
With sweeper Carrie Watts out with an injury, the Hoosiers started four freshmen against the Hawkeyes. However, it was senior Wendy Dillinger leading the attack with six shots. Tracy Grose added four shots for the Hoosiers.
Indiana is home to take on Illinois Sunday, October 5 at 1:30 pm.
