Bloomington, Ind. -- Indiana sophomore Jason Collier has informed the IU coaching staff that he is no longer going to be part of the Indiana basketball team and is planning on playing elsewhere in the future.

"In talking with Jason I believe his decision is in his best interest as well as ours," said Indiana head coach Bob Knight.
