Indiana defeats Michigan State 3-0 Bloomington, Ind. -- Indiana defeated Michigan State 3-0 this afternoon to run its record to 9-0-0 and 1-0-0 in Big Ten play.

The Hoosiers scored first when Chris Klein at the 9:36 mark as he broke through two defenders and scored from 15 yards out.
Dema Kovalenko scored in the 23rd minute to give the Hoosiers a 2-0 lead on a rebound shot from Aleksey Korol who earned an assist.
Kovalenko scored in the scond half on a 12 yard goal for the last IU goal.
The Hoosiers outshot MSU 23-3 and tied a school record with 19 corner kicks set previously in 1975 against Wabash.
Indiana goalkeepers Joe Zarr and T.J. Hannig did not have to make a save.
The Hoosiers play next against Penn State on Friday Oct. 3
