Recap: Indiana vs. Iowa
New Year's Eve Game
LAST GAME: (Iowa 89, Indiana 76) Iowa broke open a close game in the second half as they used a 18-4 run to break a 63-63 tie to win the Big Ten opener for both teams. Iowa's Ryan Bowen scored 15 of his 19 points in the second half and also garnered 14 rebounds and 5 steals. Ricky Davis led Iowa with 22 points. The Hoosiers shot only 41.2% (28-68) while Iowa became only the second team this season to shoot better than 50% from the field (53.1%) against IU. Luke Recker led the Hoosiers with 19 points while Andrae Patterson added 17 points and 9 rebounds.
