GAME #19 FACTS: Indiana (13-5, 4-2 Big Ten) at Wisconsin (10-7, 3-2 Big Ten). Sunday (Jan. 25), Kohl Center (17,142), Madison, Wisc. Game time is 4 p.m. (EST)/3 p.m. (CST).
GAME DATA: The Indiana Hoosiers play their only game of the week this afternoon at Wisconsin in the new Kohl Center. IU defeated Purdue 94-88 last Sunday which puts its record at 13-5 overall and 4-2 in the Big Ten. That victory gives Indiana a four-game winning streak. A victory this afternoon would put the Hoosiers at nine games above .500 for the first time this season. This afternoon's game is Coach Bob Knight's 825th at Indiana. The game against Wisconsin marks the first of four against Big Ten opponents the Hoosiers will play only once this season.
TELEVISION: The Wisconsin game is being broadcast on CBS. Jim Durham and Al McGuire call the action.
RADIO: Every IU game can be heard on the IU Radio Network. The flagship station is WBWB in Bloomington which provides a statewide network. Don Fischer, Bob Hammel, Joe Smith and Norm Ellenberger call the action. The pregame show begins 40 minutes prior to tipoff.
INDIANA HEAD COACH BOB KNIGHT: is college basketball's winningest active head coach with 713 victories (all games at the Division I level). He is just one of 12 NCAA coaches all-time to have recorded 700 or more victories. He is in his 27th season as the Indiana head coach and has a record of 611-213 (.742). Knight is in his 33rd season as a collegiate head coach and has an overall record of 713-263 (.731). Knight's record in Big Ten play is 329-133 (.712). He has led the Hoosiers to three NCAA titles (1976, 1981 and 1987) and a conference record 11 Big Ten Championships (1973, 1974, 1975, 1976, 1980, 1981, 1983, 1987, 1989, 1991 and 1993). He was inducted into the National Basketball Hall of Fame in May of 1991. Knight is 45-5 vs. Wisconsin overall and at Indiana.

CoachBobKnight.com is a comprehensive look at the coach both on and off the court and the 1997-98 Hoosiers. The site features gameday information, team stats and a text of Coach's postgame press conferences plus many other features. On-line real time stat updates from games are also available.
THE SERIES: Indiana and Wisconsin are meeting for the 134th time. The Hoosiers lead the all-time series 86-47 after the teams split last year's games - UW won 71-58 in Madison and the Hoosiers won 70-66 in Bloomington. Indiana has won 32 of the last 33 meetings. Indiana is 39-27 all-time against the Badgers in Madison and have won 16 of the last 18 in Madison.
INDIANA'S BIG TEN HISTORY: The Indiana Hoosiers are playing their 91st season of Big Ten basketball. Indiana began playing Big Ten basketball in 1905 (IU missed the 1907 and 1908 seasons). The Hoosiers are the winningest team in conference history with a 59.6% winning percentage (738-499). Indiana is second in league history with 19 titles.
