HOOSIERS FINISH FIFTH AT INDIANA STATE
Terre Haute, Ind. -- The Indiana women's cc team finished fifth of 11 in the 5k Indiana State Invitational Saturday.
IU sophomore Kelli O'Connor led the women for the first time this season. O'Connor finished ninth overall while improving her best 5k time by five seconds, 19:03.40 at Indiana State.
Senior Jenny Sprowls finished second for Indiana and improved her best time by almost 40 seconds. Junior Katie Barber (third for IU0 and senior Tracy Knudsen (fourth for IU) both fell off their best times Saturday.
Next meet: The Hoosiers run at the Indiana Intercollegiates in West Lafayette Firiday October 16th at 3:45 p.m.
