ALEKSEY KOROL NAMED BIG TEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Park Ridge, Ill. -- Indiana junior Aleksey Korol was named the Big Ten Men's Soccer Player of the Week after he led the Hoosiers to victories over Butler and Evansville.

Korol scored twice against Butler in the 3-0 victory and then scored the game-winner in overtime as the top-ranked Hoosiers won at Evansville 2-1.

He tallied nine shots in the two games to lead the team for the week. He is also the team's leading scorer with 8 goals and 4 assists for 20 points. Korol is the third IU player to be selected for this award this season.
