WOMEN'S GOLF FINISHES EIGHTH

Franklin, Ind., The IU women's golf team completed the third round of the Big Ten vs. Big 12 Shoot-Out at the Legends of Indiana Golf Course today, finishing sixth. The Hoosiers carded a three round total of 911 (310-302-299), leaving them 20 strokes behind Texas' total of 891 (293-301-297).
Senior Erin Carney continued her impressive play as she captured the individual title, firing rounds of 69-74-71 (214), to put her two strokes ahead of Salimah Mussani of Texas 216 (68-71-77).
The Hoosiers next travel to Stanford, California to participate in the Stanford/Pepsi Women's Intercollegiate Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, October 23, 24, and 25.
