HOOSIERS EARN HIGH MARKS IN EARLY SEASON PICKS
With the start of the basketball season this Friday, it has been time for some early season selections by college basketball experts.
ESPN.com's Jay Bilas selected guard A.J. Guyton as one of his top six
point guards in the nation. "No discussion of the top level point guards
can he held without Guyton's inclusion," Bilas said.
Along those same line, Bilas selected forward William Gladness as one of
the "Best of the Rest" power forwards in the nation.
Bilas has also selected the Indiana backcourt as the third best unit in
the nation. "The key to Indiana's success this season will be the play
of the Hoosier guards, and Bob Knight has a deep crop of talent," he
said.
Dick Vitale's Preseason Ranking has also been released and he ranks the Hoosiers 22nd to begin the season.
