HOOSIERS WOMEN FINISH SIXTH AT INDIANA INTERCOLLEGIATES West Lafayette, Ind. -- The Indiana women's cc team finished sixth in the 5k at the Indiana Intercollegiates hosted by Purdue Friday. The women's cc team stayed consistent as all but three runners finished within 12 seconds above or below their previous best. Kelli O' Connor led Indiana for the second consecutive race and improved by 12 seconds on her best time and finished 16th overall. Besides O'Connor, Megan Leahy and Amber Macy improved on their personal bests and finished in the top 50 of the 220 runner field. Katie Barber and Jenny Sprowls finished second and third respectively and solidified themselves as two of the top IU runners. Next meet: The Big Ten Championships are November 1st at Michigan. The women start at 11:30 a.m.
