HOOSIERS TAKE TO THE FLOOR IN OFFENSIVE-MINDED SCRIMMAGE
Bloomington, Ind. ­­ The Indiana Hoosiers played their annual intrasquad scrimmage Tuesday night in Assembly Hall.
In the first half, the White team defeated the Red team 53-52 as A.J. Guyton led the White squad with 16 points. The Red team shot 63.6% from the field in the first 20 minutes and was paced by Dane Fife's 19 points.
Four players changed teams in the second half and the Red came out on
top 54-38. Michael Lewis led that team with 13 points while Rob Turner added
11 and Kirk Haston had 10. Luke Recker had 13 for the White in the second
half.
Recker was the leading scorer overall with 24 points. Dane Fife had 21 and
Larry Richardson had 20. Michael Lewis was the top overall assist man with
13 while Richardson led the team with 9 rebounds.
For the scrimmage, the team shot 59.8% from the field, 69.9% from 3-point
range and 55.1% from the free throw line.
