FRANKLIN RULED OUT FOR OHIO STATE GAME Myler out for season
BLOOMINGTON, IND. -- Indiana University head football coach Cam Cameron today announced that running back Frankie Franklin will be forced to miss Saturday's game with Ohio State because of a strained right knee. Franklin, who has started the last two games at tailback has rushed for 355 yards and 3 touchdowns this season. He had his most productive game of the season two weeks ago vs. Iowa when he rushed for 146 yards and 1 touchdown on 28 carries in a 14-7 Indiana victory.
"Frankie has some inflammation in his right knee that is going to force him out of action this Saturday," said head coach Cam Cameron. "Marcus Floyd will start in his place."
Cameron also announced today that true freshman defensive tackle A.C.
Myler will miss the remainder of the season with tendonitis in both knees.
Myler saw limited action in games at Kentucky and Cincinnati. He was credited
with a forced fumble in the game at Lexington.
