October 6, 1998 T.J. HANNIG NAMED BIG TEN PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Park Ridge, Ill. -- IU goalkeeper T.J. Hannig (right) was named Big Ten Player of the Week as he made five saves in the Hoosiers' win over Penn State. He made one in overtime as he tipped the ball over the cross bar preventing the winning goal from scoring. He is the second IU player to be honored with this award this year as Lazo Alavanja was selected two weeks ago.
