WOMEN'S GOLF LOOKING FOR BETTER PERFORMANCE AT LEGENDS
Tournament Data: Monday, Tuesday, October 11 and 12, the Indiana University women's golf team will participate in the Big Ten vs. Big Twelve Shoot-Out at the Legends of Indiana Golf Course in Franklin, Indiana. The tournament will consist of 54 holes, 36 to be played on Monday and 18 being played on Tuesday. Monday's opening round will be a shotgun start and Tuesday's round will begin at 7:45 a.m.
The Teams: (15) Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kansas State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Northwestern, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Purdue, Texas, Wisconsin.
The Hoosiers: Coach Sam Carmichael has decided to change his lineup for the Shoot-Out. Erin Carney and Jennifer Seger will be exempt from qualifying, while Tiffany Fisher, Michelle Hatfield, Theresa McDermott, Sami Montgomery, and Inga Snyder fight for the the last three spots.
Carmichael said the conditions and the course at the Bama Fall Preview were tough, but his team should play better than they did. "We need to score better," he said. "More like the first round. I was pleased with that round."
