NOVEMBER POLLS PUT HOOSIERS 15TH, CARNEY 9TH
The November edition of the MasterCard Collegiate Golf Rankings placed the Hoosiers 15th in the nation, receiving a total of 97 votes. Duke received top honors by collecting 250 votes.
Senior Erin Carney finished ninth in the rankings, tallying 132 votes. Jenny Chuasiriporn was the top vote getter with 233 votes. Carney was also named the Rolex College Golfer of the Month for October on Tuesday. Carney, who has two victories this season at the Legends of Indiana and the Lady Northern, also has a third place finish at the Stanford Women's Intercollegiate.
Her scoring average of 73.0 for the month of October moved her up in the rankings from 21st in October to ninth currently.
