MEDIA COVERAGE FOR INDIANA FOOTBALL AND BASKETBALL THIS WEEKEND
Bloomington, IN -- With Indiana's football and basketball teams in action at the same time this weekend, there have been some changes in broadcast media coverage for the events.
As far as radio is concerned, WIBC (1070 AM), will cover the IU-Illinois football game in its entirety which begins at 2 p.m. The IU - Seton Hall basketball game can be heard in its entirety on WNAP (93.1 FM) at 4:30 p.m. All other IU radio affiliates will carry the football game and then join the basketball game in progress. There will be live updates during the football game on the status of the basketball game as well.
Saturday's basketball game will not be televised as originally scheduled. When the game was added as part of this tournament, the NABC did not make provisions for the game to be broadcast.
Sunday's game with South Carolina will still be televised on Fox Sports Net. This includes such channels as Fox Sports Midwest and Fox Sports Chicago. It will not be televised on regular Fox stations such as WXIN Channel 59 in Indianapolis.
Good tickets for both days of the NABC Classic are still available by calling Ticketmaster at 317-239-5151. They are priced at $10 and $30 for one day, and $20 and $50 for a two-day session ticket.
