HOOSIERS TO HOST MISSOURI ON SATURDAYThis week: The Indiana University Wrestling team will host the University of Missouri on Saturday, December 12 at University Gym. The Hoosiers are coming off an impressive win, 38-5, over Miami (Ohio) last Thursday and good outing at the Northern Iowa Open on Saturday. The dual meet will begin 1:00 p.m.
Last week: Viktor Sveda (184) was the big winner last week. Against Miami (Ohio), Sveda earned a technical fall and at the Northern Iowa Open, he racked up a 4-0 record, one pin, and a first place finish. Kevin Stanley (157) was also a winner at the UNI Open. Stanley recorded two technical fouls, one pin and a 5-0 record on his way to a first place finish.
Coach Duane Goldman is pleased with his team so far this season and is looking to finish the fall season on a strong note. "I'm pleased with our showing so far this season," he said. "It's important to finish strong before the break."
