IU WATER POLO 1-0 IN PRINCETON INVITENo. 15 Indiana defeats No. 20 Princeton 11-5
Princeton N.J.- The No. 15 ranked Indiana Hoosiers emerged victorious in the first day of the Princeton Invitational. IU defeated No. 20 Princeton 11-5 to move to 5-0-1 on the season.
The Hoosiers were led by sophomore Deb Simone, and freshmen Shari Fagley and Kelly McKay. Simone paced Indiana with six goals followed by McKay tossing in three and Fagley with an additional two goals.
The Hoosiers begin day two of the three day Princeton Invitational on Saturday, February 28th, as they take on Navy AC at 9:30 a.m. IU will then battle No. 12 Maryland at 2:00 p.m.
