INDIANA IMPRESSIVE IN FIRST DAY OF INDIANA INVITE
Bloomington, Ind.- In the first day of the Indiana Invitational, the Hoosiers had several encouraging performances and will be looking forward to an intense day of competition as the Indiana Invite wraps up on Saturday, February 7th.
The majority of the events on Friday evening were prelims with the finals scheduled for Saturday afternoon. Of the events that were completed on Friday, the following Hoosiers had successful performances. Cori McLeod finished second in the pole vault (2.80m), Jennifer Brown finished second in the 20 lbs. weight throw (16.78m), Nathalie Belfort finished third in the high jump (1.74m), and Zach Fleming (18.15m) and Kurt Krick (17.27m) finished third and fourth in the shot put.
The second day of the Indiana Invite kicks off tomorrow with the field events scheduled to
begin at 12:40 p.m. and the first running event set to start at 12:50 p.m.
