HOOSIERS LOOK TO IMPROVE AT NCAA MEET
This Week: The Indiana men's swimming and diving team will look to improve on its 20th-place finish at the 1997 NCAA meet when Ken Ackermann, Mike Collier, Tom Davidson, and Rob Iglinski travel to Auburn University for the 1998 NCAA Meet. The meet is at the James E. Martin Aquatics Center from March 26-28. Prelims start each day at 11 a.m. (CST) and finals start at 7 p.m. (CST). Diving prelims are scheduled for 1 p.m. (CST).

Last Week: The NCAA Diving Zone meet was held at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Junior Mike Collier took the placed first in the one and three-meter competitions to earn a spot at the NCAA Championships this weekend. Sophomore Tom Davidson also qualified for the NCAA meet.

Diver of the Month: Davidson continued to collect the honors as he was named Big Ten Diver of the Month for February. That award joins a list that includes 1998 Big Ten Diver of the Championships and 1997 Big Ten Freshman of the Year.
1997 NCAA Championships: Indiana sent three athletes to the 1997 meet at the University of Minnesota. Rob Iglinski qualified in two events and finished seventh in the 400 IM and 21st in the 200 IM. Diver Mike Collier dove in all three events. His highest finish was fifth on the three-meter in addition to a 11th on the one-meter and 13th on the platform
