GUYTON NAMED PLAYBOY PRESEASON ALL-AMERICAN

Bloomington, Ind.  Indiana junior guard A.J. Guyton has been named to the 1998-99 Playboy All-America team. He is the third Indiana player to be named to the magazine's preseason All American team as Isiah Thomas was on the team in 1980-81 and Calbert Cheaney was chosen in 1992-93.

Guyton is currently one of 17 finalists for the United States Goodwill Games team. He is in Minneapolis this week for the final try-outs for the team that is being coached by Minnesota's Clem Haskins. If he makes the team, the squad begins competition in New York City July 19 against Puerto Rico.
