Press Release IU FOOTBALL FRESHMEN TO REPORT FRIDAY
FIRST PRACTICE SCHEDULED FOR SATURDAY MORNING
MEDIA DAY REMINDER
BLOOMINGTON, IND. -- Head football coach Cam Cameron today announced the schedule for incoming freshmen and first-time participants who will be members of the Indiana University football program this season.
First-time participants (which includes all true freshmen, junior college transfers, and other players who participated this past spring but not prior to that practice period; a total of approximately 40 players) will report to the IU campus from 12:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 14. On Saturday, August 15, first-time participants will begin practice at 9:00 a.m. There will be three practice sessions on Saturday. The other sessions will begin at 11:45 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. All three practices will be held on the football practice fields adjacent to the Mellencamp Pavilion. Practices are open to the media and to fans unless announced in advance.
Just a reminder to all media members that IU football media day will be held on Wednesday, August 19, beginning at 11:00 a.m. If you have any questions please contact Todd Starowitz at (812) 855-9610. Fans are invited to meet the team in the Mellencamp Pavilion beginning at 1:00 p.m. that same day.
