THREE HOOSIERS NAMED FINALISTS FOR HERMANN TROPHY
Bloomington, Ind. -- Three Indiana players -- Lazo Alavanja, Nick Garcia and Dema Kovalenko -- head the 15 finalists for the 1998 Hermann Trophy.
Two players each from Duke, Virginia and North Carolina are also among the finalists. The winner will be announced Dec. 12 at the Soccer America FanZone in Richmond, Va.

& Mary), Matt Chulis (Virginia), Nick Garcia (Indiana), Jay Heaps
(Duke), Dema Kovalenko (Indiana), Wojtek Krakowiak (Clemson), Jason
Moore (Virginia), Richard Mulrooney (Creighton), Antonio Otero (American),
Maurizio Rocha (Connecticut), Steve Shak (UCLA), Sasha Victorine (UCLA),
Evan Whitfield (Duke).
