WOMEN RUN THIRD AT TENNESSEE
Knoxville, Tenn. --The Indiana women's cc team finished where coach Judy Bogenschut predicted. The women ran to a strong third place finish at the Tennessee Invitational.
Indiana senior Traci Knudsen finished eighth in the women's race to lead the Hoosiers for the second consecutive meet.
"We ran better today than we did last week," said IU women's coach Judy Bogenschutz. "(Senior Traci) Knudsen, (junior Katie) Barber, and (sophomore Kelli) O'Connor really stepped it up today."
Next home meet: The Hoosiers host the Indiana Invitational Saturday September 26. The women run at 10 a.m. followed by the men at 10:45 a.m.
