MEN'S GOLF LOOKING TO REBOUND AT LEGENDS

Tournament Data: Monday and Tuesday October 5 and 6, the Indiana University men's golf team will participate in the Legends of Indiana Men's Intercollegiate golf tournament. The tournament is 54 holes, with 36 to be played Monday and 18 on Tuesday. The course is a par 72 and stretches approximately 7,200 yards.
The first round Monday will be a shotgun format beginning at 7:30 a.m. Tuesday's round will also start at 7:30 a.m. but will be a normal start. With one tournament under its belt, Coach Mike Mayer is expecting the Hoosiers to perform better next week.
The Teams: (18) Akron, Ball State, Eastern Kentucky, Eastern Illinois, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisville, Marshall, Michigan, Notre Dame, Ohio, Penn State, Toledo, Western Kentucky, Wisconsin, Xavier.
The Hoosiers: Last week IU traveled to Minneapolis last week, participating in the Northern Invitational. The Hoosiers finished ninth and did not have one player crack the top 20. The leading IU golfer was Steven Wheatcroft . His score of 214 (69-73-72) was good enough for a share of 26th place.
