HOOSIERS LOSE AT NO. 19 OHIO STATE
COLUMBUS, Ohio - Indiana's women's basketball team dropped its fourth-straight game Sunday afternoon, losing to No. 19 Ohio State 76-58 in front of 7,263 fans at Value City Arena.
With the loss, the Hoosiers drop to 13-12 overall, 2-9 in the Big Ten while Ohio State improves to 14-6 overall, 7-3 in league play.
Despite a career-best 24 points and 14 rebounds from center Jill Chapman, the Hoosiers never recovered from an early 27-11 Buckeye run in the first 11 minutes of the game.
Senior Cindy Kerns was the only other double figure scorer for Indiana with 14 points. As a team, the Hoosiers shot just 36 percent from the field, while the Buckeyes shot an impressive 59 percent.
