DIVERS START NEW YEAR WITH INDIANA WINTER INVITATIONAL
Coach Jeff Huber and the Indiana diving team open the 1999 portion of the schedule with the Indiana Winter Invitational. The three day diving meet will attract some of the top divers from the midwest and nation.
The meet starts on Friday at 2 p.m. with springboard preliminaries. They will continue on Saturday afternoon and the top finishers will move on to Saturday evening's dive off. The dive off will be made up of the top three finishers from the open and collegiate divisions.
The meet will wrap up on Sunday with the platform competition.
Both the swimming and diving teams will resume the dual meet season on Friday, Jan. 15 when they host Penn State. The meet will be at the Counsilman and Billingsley Center and is scheduled to start at 4 p.m.
